The Spotter Guide series continues to expand in 2013 with the assistance of Nissan with the Nismo European Le Mans Series Spotter Guide. The guides will be updated and released prior to each round of the 2013 ELMS.

It is time for the final round of the championship at Paul Ricard in France.  The guide features Car, Driver, Livery, Team, Class and Nationalities detail. The guide will be updated during the week should any significant changes occur.

So thats it, the final American Le Mans Series race took place at Petit Le Mans this past weekend. Its been a great series despite car count issues, partly brought on by the Economy the last couple of years.

To mark the 15 ALMS Champions, Delta Wing Racing Cars commissioned me to create a graphic for the nose of their racecar. All the ALMS cars carried a helmet decal of the late Sean Edwards who was killed earlier this week. Sean will be missed by the whole motorsport community. Condolences to his family, friends and colleagues on the track.

The guide features all these cars and their drivers. In additional, information on Team, Car, Helmet, Chassis, Tires, Class and even Fuel! I will update the guides when I can, but as I’m at the event, connectivity issues may delay release.

During the past six years, the American Le Mans Series has been a fantastic supporter of the Spotter Guide series and have been instrumental in the success of this project. Thank you to everyone at the ALMS including Ryan, Misty, Erin, Taylor Josh, Kelsi, Ed and Scott.

Hopefully we will be creating Spotter Guides for the new TUDOR United SportsCar Championship in 2014, Fingers crossed!

The 2013 DTM Spotter Guide, presented by Fourtitude.com is now online and updated for Round 3 at the ‘Red Bull Ring’, Austria, for you to download. The guide features all 22 entries with car, livery and driver detail including the three letter Driver ID.

With the Champions league final this weekend  Mercedes and Audi have Football fever. Miguel Molina (#20) retains his Audi Cup/Bayern Munich livery from Brands while Mercedes Benz AMG are fielding VFB Stuttgart livery on Pascal Wehrlein’s (#18) machine. One further change. Adrien Tambay has reverted back to his Audi Ultra livery.

The guide will be updated during the year as any driver or livery changes occur.

The new  Spotter Guides 2013 Racing Calendar Wall Planner, supported by  RadioLeMans.com and DailySportscar.com has been updated (Jan 24th) . Version 2 is now available to download!

The planner has most International race series schedules and a few national series too. Lots of detail, so I would recommend printing this at ISO A3, 11×17 at a minimum.

The guide has been released as a PDF to ensure you can print with maximum clarity and a JPG for Desktop Wallpapers etc (see below)

Following requests last year, I will be releasing a small 11×17 print run later in January, but I am trying to keep the cost down and away from high end Art Paper. Its probably only viable in North America – I will post details here week of 28th January

2011 ALMS/ILMC Petit Le Mans Spotter Guide

The 2 page Spotter Guide for Petit Le Mans, the final round of The American Le Mans Series and the penultimate round for the Le Mans Intercontinental Cup is now available to download.

The guide was last updated Thursday 29th September at 230am EST with a number of livery updates and latest driver changes.

A Bumper entry of 58 cars from both championships, but only 53 Grid spaces mean lots of homework before the event! The ILMC entries are marked out under the number box on the guides and also on the cars.

Livery for the AF Corse Ferrari F430 is unclear at the moment. It could wear yellow MWR graphics (as per Le Mans) or Ebay Motors branding. Those with an eagle eye will notice the Pink Numbers on the Corvettes, to mark Cancer Awareness Month.

The Guides will be updated Thursday evening for any significant livery or driver changes.

I wanted to express a huge thanks to the ALMS and virtually every team who have helped during the season, helping to make the guide such a fan sucess.  

Thank you to everyone who has downloaded the guides on www.spotterguides.com and the American Le Mans website or purchased the guide (created by the ALMS using my car images and helmets) for charity. It is very much appreciated. Hopefully, we will be back next year.
